Hi, I’m Dan!

I'm a photographer, a dad of two boys, and someone who's always believed that the best family photographs are the ones that feel like you.

I've been photographing people and places for years, but it's the little, unscripted moments that I enjoy most. The cheeky smiles, the laughter, the cuddles, and all the things that make your family your own.

I'm not a big fan of stiff poses or artificial backdrops. Living in South Wales, we're lucky enough to have beautiful beaches, woodland and countryside on our doorstep, and I'd much rather make use of those than put everyone in front of a studio background.

As a dad, I know children aren't always interested in sitting still and smiling for a camera. That's absolutely fine. My sessions are relaxed, with a little gentle guidance when needed and plenty of room for everyone to be themselves. And if you're not particularly comfortable in front of a camera yourself, you're in good company!

I'm based in the Vale of Glamorgan, also photographing families across Bridgend, Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
